MaxRecovery™ Human Buccal Cell DNA Extraction Kit

Product Description
The MaxRecovery™ Human Buccal Cell DNA Extraction Kit is used to recover high molecular weight human DNA from cheek epithelial cells (also called buccal cells). The kit includes cytology brushes for non-invasive sampling, and reagents for extraction of DNA from the recovered cells. The kit also contains a set of PCR primers for amplification of a single-copy X-linked human gene to use for verification of successful DNA extraction. The buccal cell DNA and human primers included in the kit are especially useful for troubleshooting various types of problems with PCR reactions, as outlined in the last section of this manual. The Human Genomic DNA Primer Set 1 was designed to use with this kit.
