GLIMS

Product Description
A client/server product LIS solution, GLIMS (General Laboratory Information Management System) communicates directly with analysis instruments and hospital applications. Microbiology and transfusion management, as well as country-specific billing, are supported.

GLIMS utilizes state-of-the-art technology, including Object-Oriented, Relational Database Management System, Graphical User Interface, Client/Server, and Internet technologies. Dedicated modules are available for several applications,including microbiology and transfusion management as well as billing and accounting.

GLIMS allows the user to completely define the layout and content of screens and reports, and can accommodate multilingual sites, with each user logging into the system in his or her own language. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are also included to ensure the validity and traceability of data on internal, routine and daily operation laboratory procedures.
