The new Polar Bear Plus Flow™ from Uniqsis is a state-of-the-art heating and cooling reactor module for flow chemistry applications.

Developed by Cambridge Reactor Design in collaboration with Professor Steven Ley's research group at the Innovative Technologies Centre (ITC), University of Cambridge, this compact and portable unit can maintain reactor temperatures anywhere between -40°C and +150°C.

Not much larger than a shoe box, the Polar Bear Plus Flow™ reactor is completely self-contained, simple to use and easy to relocate, requiring only an electricity supply for operation - no cardice, no refrigerants, no heat transfer fluids. Simply switch on, select the desired temperature, and it’s ready to operate, with the lowest temperature being accessible within approximately 30 minutes.

The Polar Bear Plus Flow™ is compatible with all standard Uniqsis coil and chip reactors, making it an ideal and flexible addition to an existing FlowSyn™ system. Alternatively it can be combined with, and controlled by, the Uniqsis Binary Pump Module (BPM) as the basis for a modular flow reactor system.
