Any analytical method that can provide a rapid, quantitative measurement of a desired product or contaminant will be useful in monitoring and optimizing bioreactors/ fermenters and individual purification steps.

This application note describes one example of a rapid sandwich immunoassay (FAST ILA) developed to detect murine IgG using the Threshold ILA system.
