Reflect Scientific Introduces Cryometrix Model B-120 Blast Freezer

Reflect Scientific, Inc. has announced the introduction of the Cryometrix model B-120 blast freezer.

The Cryometrix B-120 builds upon the success of the model T-150 ultra low temperature freezer and utilizes the same patented liquid nitrogen technology.

The B-120 is capable of freezing 120 liters of protein material to a -100 degrees C set point in less than 24 hours. This represents a 36 times increase in product throughput as compared to typical standardized processes.

Other key features of interest include adaptable payload, low operating costs, no additional HVAC requirements and versatile programming options for step cooling.

Dr. Boyd Bowdish, Principal Scientist at Reflect Scientific, commented, "As with the T-150, the B-120 has no compressors, no moving parts involved in the cooling process and with over 1 million T-150 operational hours, the simplified B-120 design is being looked at as a real long term solution to efficient, cost effective freezing protocols for decades to come."
