Detection of Alkaline Phosphatase activity was performed using the AP Detection kit (Millipore). Teratoma assays were performed by subcutaneous injection of 1x10^6 iPS cells into the dorsal flank of SCID mice. Teratomas were visualized after 4 weeks with hematoxylin and eosin staining.
