Adapting to a wide variety of DNA extraction workflows, the system is scalable and can be expanded as required to incorporate, for example, additional KingFisher modules for increased sample throughput. Non-contact dispensing with the Thermo Scientific Multidrop Combi dispenser with valve option allows for dispensing of up to eight reagents, while diminishing the risk of sample cross-contamination. Supporting this system, the sophisticated Thermo Scientific Momentum software assists the user in managing complex processes, for reliable operation without the need for user monitoring.
