Webinar Summary

With the growing demand to analyze further breakdown products, more and more polar compounds, or even (permanently) charged target compounds have now come under the focus of registration authorities.

These new residues are beyond the scope of traditional LC-based techniques and require new approaches e.g. HILIC MS/MS or ion chromatography. But even these techniques encounter challenges when analyzing some matrix samples.

In this talk we will present a new CESI-MS-based approach which detects charged compounds – in this case, trifluoroacetic acid and difluoroacetic acid – in matrix samples from field residue trials and which has been GLP-validated in a commercial pesticide residue analytical lab.

Attend this webinar to learn:
  • Why CESI-MS is ideal for detecting polar and charged pesticides and their residues
  • How CESI-MS can detect polar pesticide residues in field residue trials and how the results compare with alternative techniques
  • What factors you need to consider when developing a CESI-MS method for pesticide residue analysis.
