LC-MS for Detection of SARS-CoV-2 Viral and Host Proteins
This technical note provides a comprehensive LC-MS proteomic analysis to detect and monitor COVID-19 infection severity and disease progression. An LC-MS assay was developed to quantify targeted peptide surrogates from critical proteins from nasopharyngeal swab and plasma samples obtained from individuals testing positive for SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus using a reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test.
