Use of the Microcuvette Holder with Plastic Microcuvettes

Common applications of UV/Visible spectrophotometers include direct measurement of nucleic acids and proteins to determine their concentration. Disposable UV plastic cuvettes requiring a small sample volume are often the cuvettes of choice.

This application note demonstrates how, using Jenway UV plastic cuvettes with a microcuvette holder, direct measurements of nucleic acids and proteins are possible with as little as 70μl of sample.
