Bionanotechnology , Granada, Spain
Event Jul 09
Bionanotechnology aims to learn from nature - to understand the structure and function of biological devices and to utilise natures solutions in advancing science and engineering. Evolution has produced an overwhelming number and variety of biological devices that function at the nanometre or molecular level and which provide performance that is unsurpassed by man-made technologies. The present Euroconference is designed to foster research at the physical / life sciences interface on biological or biologically-inspired molecular-scale devices. The programme is designed around four main themes in bionanotechnology (which are not intended to be exclusive): biomolecular electronics and photonics, molecular motors and novel devices.
