Bruker Completes Acquisition of Socabim
Bruker AXS GmbH has announced that it has completed the acquisition of privately-held Socabim SAS. This acquisition was originally announced on August 16, 2005, and was expected to close early in 2006.
The acquisition of Socabim significantly expands Bruker AXS’ core technology base in two of its strategic product and applications areas.
It is expected that the addition of the Socabim technology and R&D team will further improve the "time-to-market," the analytical power of Bruker AXS’ X-ray systems for advanced research and process analysis in the nanomaterials, thin film, composite materials, semiconductor and basic materials industries.
