Mass-spec-training.com Featured at Unique Mass Spectrometry Learning Conference

Read time: Less than a minute

Mass-Spec-Training.com has announced their participation in Mass Spectrometry 2013 – New Horizons in MS Hyphenated Techniques and Analyses. The conference and exhibition are being held at the state-of-the-art Biopolis facility in Singapore on March 6-7, 2013. Optional training workshops are being offered in conjunction with the conference to provide attendees with additional opportunities to enrich their skills.

Conference organizer Separation Science collaborated with Frederick Klink and David Sparkman of Mass-Spec-Training.com to create an unusual learning-oriented agenda. “Mass Spec 2013 is unique among analytical chemistry conferences,” said Klink, founder of Mass-Spec-Training.com. “The focus is not about leading-edge research, but rather on mass spectrometry fundamentals, techniques and best practices.” Klink adds, “This conference is for scientists new to mass spec or those who wish to improve their skills and understanding of this essential technique. Participants will come away with knowledge that will enable them to improve their performance in the laboratory and enhance their career marketability.”

The program organizers have carefully selected over 15 presenters from around the world who have demonstrated ability to present difficult and complex mass spectrometry concepts in a clear, concise manner that will resonate with the working analytical chemist.

Klink and Sparkman are featured speakers. In addition to presenting papers in the conference program, they are offering two optional workshops. Klink will conduct a two-day workshop March 4-5 on “Fundamentals of LC/MS” and Sparkman will instruct “Mass Spectral Interpretation.”
