Agilent Technologies Inc. has introduced the 1200 Series High Performance Autosampler SL plus (+), typically delivering the lowest carryover of any autosampler on the market, the company claims.

Providing carryover as low as 0.004 percent, the new 1 200 Series High Performance Autosampler SL+ is well—suited for increasingly sensitive high throughput LC/MS applications.

According to Agilent, the unit uses a flow path design to achieve this low carryover and features a typical precision of less than 0.5 percent from 2—5u1 and less than 0.7 percent from 1 - 2u1.

“We set out to design the best-in-class LC/MS front end ever, for the maximum in separation efficiency and sensitivity in demanding applications such as pharmaceutical discovery, environmental analysis and the life sciences,” said Georges Gauthier, Agilent LC product manager.
