At ARABLAB 2012 in Dubai, Analytik Jena AG presents itself at booth 427 in the German Pavilion with its current instrument portfolio for Analytical Instrumentation and Life Science and with a new solution for laboratory information management systems (LIMS).

ARABLAB is one of the analytical industry's most important annual platforms for the growth markets of the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

"The development of the Middle East region is a key task for us in the coming years. We have been well positioned with a strong representation in Dubai and a solid dealer network in the whole region for over ten years," said Klaus Berka, CEO of Analytik Jena AG.

Berka continued, "Along with the continuous expansion of our core business Analytical Instrumentation, we are aiming particularly to expand the Life Science business. The market offers massive opportunities for this."

With the two divisions, Analytical Instrumentation and Life Science, as well as the subsidiaries AJ Blome system, Biometra and AJ Roboscreen, Analytik Jena is represented at ARABLAB with a large range of products.

The products exhibited by the Analytical Instrumentation division include its High-Resolution Continuum Source Atomic Absorption Spectrometer contrAA® 700 which is unique on the market. It is used, in particular, for the analysis of heavy metals at extremely low concentrations.

Also on show is the multi EA® 5000, a new generation of elemental analyzers for determining carbon, nitrogen, sulfur and chlorine from solid, liquid, pasty and gaseous samples. It finds wide use e.g. in petrochemistry and oil and natural gas production.

Just in time for the ARABLAB, AJ Blome system is celebrating the premiere of its new product ready LIMS®, an efficient, immediately ready to operate laboratory information management system to process the entire range of daily laboratory tasks.

The focus of the exhibition for the Life Science division will be the new real-Time PCR devices. Also presenting itself is the AJ subsidiary AJ Roboscreen, integrated in this division, which already has a wide customer base in the Middle East region, with its extensive molecular and protein diagnostics.

"The oil and gas industry plays a crucial role in the Middle East region. Moreover, the region invests considerable amounts in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries as well as in environmental analysis. With our products, we offer customized solutions for precisely these target groups," says Berka.
