W. R. Grace & Co. has announced that its Grace Davison Discovery Sciences product group has launched a high-performance evaporative light scattering detector (ELSD) for use in the chromatography market.

The ALLTECH® 3300 ELSD, a HPLC detector, features sensitivity, simple operation and maintenance, all in a compact size.

This detector’s sensitivity and universal detection method are ideal for any non-volatile compound. It can function as a stand-alone detector, or operate as a complement to UV or Mass Spectrometry.

The model 3300 is designed to be compact with a small footprint. Detector setup is easy with a Windows®-based user interface available in seven different languages.

Maintenance is simple since all parts requiring cleaning or service are accessed from the front panel.

"Our customers challenged us to simplify the most powerful ELSD on the market, and we developed the 3300 model to exceed their expectations," said Bob Gatte, Vice President and General Manager of Grace Davison’s Discovery Sciences product group.

"Grace has built an extensive R&D organization committed to delivering innovative technologies necessary to ensure our customers’ continued success."
