Hiden Analytical Release the CATLAB Micro-Reactor Brochure

Hiden release their new brochure detailing the CATLAB integrated micro-reactor/mass spectrometer system. The system comprises two close-coupled modules optimized for continuous real-time analysis of catalytic activity together with simultaneous evaluation of multiple reaction components, providing overall response times of less than 0.5 seconds and with data accumulation rates at up to 500 data-points per second.
Operation is fully pre-programmable and automated, with total control of the temperature ramp rate and of gas flow with up to 8 gas streams. The fast-response low thermal mass furnace operates to 1000°C with ramp rates to 20°C per minute.
Applications include temperature programmed desorption (TPD), reduction (TPR), oxidation (TPO) and reaction (TPRx). Additionally the mass spectrometer module may be decoupled to provide standalone operation for general laboratory gas analysis applications.
