Examples include; hydrophobic, long chain, structural isomers (for example, carotenoids, steroids, and pharmaceuticals), lipids (for example, phospholipids, omega fatty acids, and cooking oils), and hydrophilic analytes (for example, water-soluble vitamins, and organic acids).

The Acclaim C30 column provides unique selectivity and complements the range of other high-resolution reversed-phase Acclaim columns.

The Acclaim C30 column is based on covalent modification of high-purity, spherical, porous silica particles with a C30 alkyl chain, and provides the following benefits:

• High shape selectivity
• Unique selectivity complementary to other reversed-phase columns
• Compatibility with highly aqueous mobile phase
• High-quality columns – low column bleed, high efficiency, and rugged packing

The Acclaim C30 columns are available in 3 μm and 5 μm particle size, 2.1, 3.0, and 4.6 mm i.d. in various lengths and are ideally suited for use on the UltiMate® 3000 UHPLC+ systems.
