In cooperation with expert gemologists S.T. Japan-Europe has issued a new and unique Gemstone Raman spectra collection.

This database contains 365 Raman spectra and 144 Photoluminescence spectra of verified gemstones mounted in antique and modern jewelry as well as of verified unmounted gemstones.

This comprehensive collection of reference spectra is indispensable for the examination and identification of real gemstones and of artificial or adulterated stones - especially because nowadays modifications and enhancements of gemstones are increasingly becoming more sophisticated and therefore are more difficult to be recognized by traditional gemological methods.
