Q5000 IR Advanced Thermogravimetric Analyzer
TA Instruments, (New Castle, DE) has announced the introduction of Q5000 IR Thermogravimetric Analyzer.
According to TA, its features include an ultra-high sensitivity thermobalance, a 25 position autosampler with a contamination-free pan punching mechanism, and an integrated electromagnet for automated Curie Point temperature calibration.
TA claims that, infrared furnace is capable of linear heating rates up to 500°C/min, and ballistic heating rates greater than 1000°C/min.
The Q5000 IR is designed to improve baseline flatness and sensitivity by a factor of ten.
The Q5000 includes patented Hi-Res™ programs for separating closely related decompositions and Modulated TGA™ for model-free kinetic analysis.
