Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. has announced that it has expanded its line of circulators with the addition of the Thermo Scientific HAAKE EZ Cool 80 unit. This economical circulator is designed to heat and cool external applications such as analytical instrumentation, jacketed reactors and rotary evaporators. It can also be used to replace tap water cooling in small lab applications.

The HAAKE EZ Cool 80 controls temperatures ranging from -10°C to +80°C. Its bathless design minimizes the evaporation of temperature fluid during daily use. The stainless-steel circulator is both quiet and robust, making it well suited for use in the laboratory.

Said Dr. Carsten Buhlmann, product manager, “The new Thermo Scientific HAAKE EZ Cool 80 unit gives customers an economical, robust alternative to feature-rich units.” Buhlmann continued, “Whether customers need sophisticated systems for demanding dynamic applications or simple baths for general laboratory use, our goal is to offer appropriate options.”
