Two New Application Notes Available from LECO

Read time: Less than a minute

LECO’s Life Science and Chemical Analysis Centre has released two new application notes focused on energy and fuels:

Detection and Quantification of Fatty Acid Methyl Esters (FAMEs) in Jet Fuel by GCxGC-TOFMS - This application note demonstrates how time-of-flight mass spectrometry can identify and quantify FAMEs in jet fuel in a single analysis.

Light Crude Oil Fingerprinting from Six Different Global Regions Using GCxGC-TOFMS with Structural Classifications to Compare Functional Group Differences - The data presented in this application note illustrate the advantages and benefits of GCxGC-TOFMS, as well as data-mining "Classifications" strategies, to characterize and compare the chemical profiles of light crude oils from around the world.
