The new guide starts with a step-by-step presentation of the IHC workflow, followed by an IHC Selection Guide, which helps users specify the right tool for each step in the workflow. The guide gives an historical review of the development of IHC technology breakthroughs and then presents easy-to-use charts and information on detection system choices, multiple antigen labeling options and counterstaining methodology. Also included is helpful information on blocking background signal, the use of secondary and tertiary reagents and the importance of choosing the right mounting media and accessory reagents.
