Effectively Remove Proteins From Biological Samples
Biological samples commonly contain proteins that interfere with downstream applications. The CRASH method, in which the protein is denatured with solvents such as acetonitrile and methanol and the proteins filtered out, is often the preferred method for removal. Designed to enable 96 samples to be processed simultaneously, the Protein Precipitation Plate (P3) from Porvair Sciences precipitates protein directly into each well of the microplate when acetonitrile is added, thus solving all common problems associated with the CRASH technique of sample clean-up.
