At ASMS 2026, the Technology Networks team spoke with Dr. Matthew Lewis, Vice President of Metabolomics and Lipidomics at Bruker Daltonics and Head of Markets at TOFWERK, to explore how next-generation time-of-flight mass spectrometry (TOF-MS) is shifting the paradigm of human exposome research. While traditional offline sampling flags historical exposure levels, it fails to provide the real-time, actionable data required to pinpoint contaminant origins or map sudden exposure spikes.
