An integrated evaluation of the pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic properties of a drug is essential for successful translation to the clinic. However, cost-effective methods to measure these parameters at the systems level in pre-clinical models are lacking. Here, we introduce a timsTOF and MALDI-2 workflow to evaluate therapeutic activity. The platform combines ion mobility, mass spectrometry-based imaging, absolute drug quantitation across different biological matrices, in vivo isotope tracing, and global metabolome analysis in the adult zebrafish.

In the first part of this webinar, Kirk will talk about headspace sampling and GC-MS measurement of residual solvents using the JEOL JMS-Q1500GC quadrupole GC-MS system, and how the technique can meet California’s minimum reporting limits.

The novel fragmentation technique, electron activated dissociation (EAD) of the ZenoTOF 7600 system (SCIEX), was employed for peptide mapping of a multispecific monoclonal antibody (mAb) as well as IgG1 and IgG4 mAb samples. A specific focus was put on assessing challenging PTMs, such as glycosylations, amino acid isomers and the localization of a sulfation on a singly charged peptide.
