Agilent webinar on 10th July with speaker Dr. Greg M. Delgoffe

Immunometabolic Features of Cancer Immunity

Immune cell activation, differentiation and function are metabolically demanding processes, and it has now become clear that nutrient access and metabolism play a major role in regulating lymphocyte fate and function. These axes of regulation are crucially important in shaping the immune system when it is activating in metabolically demanding environments, such as tumor tissue. Indeed, the immune response to cancer is characterized by several metabolic defects.

In this webinar, Dr. Delgoffe will discuss some of these metabolic insufficiencies within the T cell compartment of solid tumors and reveal novel insights into how these metabolic nodes may be modulated to improve the immune response to cancer.

Attend this webinar to learn:

  • How T cells are sensitive to metabolites
  • The metabolic programs enacted by T cells as they become exhausted
  • How immunometabolism may be leveraged for cancer therapy
