In addition, all this information can now be produced more quickly than was ever thought possible. Due to these developments, rapid and well-founded reconstructions of events based on trace patterns found at crime scenes are becoming a tantalizing possibility. And these advantages come at a lower cost than many conventional investigative techniques.
