This instalment of Teach Me in 10 features Dr Theo Roth, who graduated from Stanford with a BS in Biology and an MS in Biomedical Informatics before starting MD and PhD training at UCSF. Dr Roth's work bridges a number of different fields, such as genome engineering, cancer immunology and cell-based therapies. In his own words, he says the key goal of his work is to develop new tools to accelerate the process of discovering new drugs.
Watch Dr Roth's Teach Me in 10 challenge to learn about how he is working to achieve this goal, and how these various scientific disciplines are intertwined to advance cell therapies.
