Nanophase Technologies has announced receipt of a customer’s initial orders on an architectural coating product for the consumer marketplace. Nanophase expects to begin delivering its advanced nanoengineered product during the current quarter with subsequent scaling anticipated during 2006.
"We are pleased with this series of orders and the launch of this new consumer product which we expect to grow into an increased revenue stream as the market rollout matures nationwide," stated Dr. Ed Ludwig, Nanophase’s vice president of business development.
"Based on information from our customer, we anticipate that annualized revenue from this new market application should be in the range of $1-2 million per year when the full rollout is complete."
