Biorex Food Diagnostics Increases Their Honey Testing Portfolio
The newly released Streptomycin ELISA kit will increase their honey test portfolio to 8 ELISA kits, taking into consideration the use of excellent generic antibodies this allows for the detection of 25 compounds in honey samples.
Managing Director Dr Morteza Afrasiabi said “Our Streptomycin ELISA kit allows for the detection of both streptomycin and dihydrostreptomycin at exceptionally low levels making this kit highly competitive in the current food safety test market”
With a detection limit of 3.2ppb combined with a very simple sample protocol this kit without doubt will be attractive to honey producers to ensure their product is free from this drug. Over the next few months Biorex Food Diagnostics will also add Tylosin and Multi-Sulfonamide ELISA test kits to their product range.
