EasyFerm Bio: The Biocompatible pH Sensor from Hamilton

Read time: Less than a minute

The Company Hamilton Bonaduz AG is offering - with immediate effect - a pH sensor in its product portfolio which can be used in highly sensitive application areas and in biotechnology, as well as in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

The EasyFerm Bio sensor is biocompatible and suitable for performing in CIP (cleaning in place) procedures. Even after frequent autoclaving or steam sterilization, it provides reliable measurements.

The biocompatible pH sensor from Hamilton - the leading manufacturer of sensor technology - satisfies all guidelines for the quality assurance of production processes and production environments in bio-sensitive processes.

Independent tests have shown that Foodlyte, the reference electrolyte of EasyFerm Bio, is food safe, biocompatible and non-cytotoxic. Foodlyte resists CIP cleaning and sterilization up to 140 degrees Celsius and can be used with pressures up to 6bar.

EasyFerm Bio is certified according to EHEDG criteria and thus meets strict hygienic cleanability requirements. Thanks to the special pH glass and the robust reference diaphragm, the sensor is reliable to use with few break downs and has excellent long-term performance.

Even after frequent autoclaving, steam sterilization, or CIP cleaning, it provides the user with reliable measurement results.
