ET Water Systems, at the Irrigation Show 2011, has announced a significant new version of its popular ETwater Manager, a smart, web-based irrigation solution for the control and monitoring of irrigation systems.

The newly released version of ETwater Manager and its feature enhancements will be demonstrated to the public for the first time at ET Water booth 1048 at Irrigation Show 2011, taking place this week through November 9th at the San Diego Convention Center.

The ETwater™ Manager smart irrigation solution combines horticulture science with proprietary web-based technology to automate the scheduling and management of irrigation systems for commercial, municipal and residential landscapes.

This comprehensive system uses an intuitive Web interface to remotely control and monitor all water management functions across multiple sites.

"We significantly expanded our user-base earlier this year with the introduction of Hermit Crab, a plug-and-play device that converts conventional controllers into ETwater Manager-compatible smart controllers," said Patrick McIntyre, ET Water CEO.

McIntyre continued, "We listened to the valuable feedback provided by our customers, and focused our resources to upgrade the system. I am really pleased that the ET Water team continues to innovate the award winning ETwater Manager to introduce a new version for 2012, which provides our customers with the best user experience and the most valuable tools and information available in the industry."

New ETwater Manager features include:
• At-A-Glance Dashboard: A new dashboard feature provides a single, at-a-glance view of alarms, controller status, and schedules across all controllers on all sites

• Water Budgeting Toolkit: This important new feature calculates water usage and provides graphs and reports to track a site's water usage against monthly water budgets to identify over-watering

• Troubleshooting: A new filtering tool provides instant access to critical data such as high flow faults and faulty valve wiring

• Bundled Configuring: A new configuration tool allows managers to configure multiple zones with similar landscape characteristics at one time

• Customized Alerts: Alert preferences can now be customized for each user's preferences

"Our customers in general manage thousands of irrigation controllers across many sites," said Mark Puckett, Product Manager of Web Solutions, ET Water.

Puckett continued, "To maximize time and budgets while managing water consumption and keeping plants healthy, they need instant access to pertinent information that tells them how their controllers are operating. Our new version of ETwater Manager provides improved reporting, more detailed troubleshooting data, and at-a-glance, system-wide snapshots, so our customers can more effectively manage their sites."

The new version of ETwater Manager will be available in December 2011 to all ET Water customers.
