UV Light Technology Limited, the Birmingham based UV equipment manufacturer has just launched their brand new range of UV air and surface disinfection units for inactivation of viruses, bacteria and fungi in seconds.

Representing the very latest technology, this exciting new product range provides UV-C light irradiance levels previously not seen with this type of lighting technology.

This enables rapid disinfection of air and surfaces in hospitals, surgeries and nursing homes.

The high UV light output is due to an optimum combination of UV germicidal double tube configuration and high frequency electronic ballast, along with computer optimized full spectrum grade aluminium reflector.

The comprehensive range consists of six models in sizes from 30 cm to 1.2 metres and power levels from 18W to 150W.

The lights are designed for wall or ceiling mounting for direct air and surface disinfection in rooms or open areas when persons are not present, or where persons exposed are fully protected by personal protective equipment.

In addition they can be mounted over specific surfaces, conveyors or within cabinet enclosures for surface disinfection.

The UV lamps are compact, lightweight and constructed in aluminium to provide robustness and durability. They are IP65 rated and therefore suitable for use in wet environments.

Mounting brackets are provided for easy installation and adjustment to directly irradiate the required area. Their modular design allows multiple UV lamps units to be used for large areas.

The UV tubes can be wrapped in clear UV-C transparent plastic to contain glass fragments and mercury in the event of breakages.

These products are part of UV Light Technology Limited’s wide range of ultra violet light equipment for a broad spectrum of applications.
