Leica Microsystems introduces the high sensitivity, super- resolution Leica TCS SP5 II Growth Confocal Imaging System for entry-level budgets. This system provides:
- Complete, affordable system installed with a variety of configurations
- Optimal excitation of fluorophores with multiple lasers to extend fluorophore lifetime and living cell viability (Growth Confocal configuration starting at 6 wavelengths)
- Multiple fluorescent channels can be acquired simultaneously with Leica Microsystems’ spectral detection system, a feature unique to Leica (Growth Confocal starts at 3 detectors)
- Super-sensitivity and photon-counting with optional Hybrid Detectors for quantitative imaging
Whenever a research project requires a system with more capability, the Growth Confocal system is easily upgraded by adding optional packages that offer an endless range of possibilities.
These packages include Deep Tissue Imaging with Multi-photon Technology, Cellular Dynamics with high speed Resonant Scanner, and Super Resolution with STED.
A laboratory saves more as features and functionality are added to the system. Customers can upgrade in the first year of ownership and lock in future savings each year as features are added. Service contracts at a reduced cost are available to protect the confocal system.
