Practical Thermometric Titration: Sodium in Margarine and Soy Milk
While the first one describes the determination of sodium for the manufacture of margarine, the second one describes the determination of sodium in soy milk. Both application notes are available online from www.metrohm.com
The new application notes are:
• AN-H-124 Determination of sodium for the manufacture of margarine
• AN-H-125 Determination of sodium in soy milk
Thermometric titration is faster than potentiometry (less than 3 minutes), there is no maintenance of the sensor required, and one and the same sensor can be used for all titrations (acid/base, redox, EDTA, precipitation, non-aqueous). Moreover, the sensor does not even have to be calibrated and it is completely insensitive to agressive media.
