Scientific Laboratory Supplies (SLS) has announced its new partnership with Bactest for the Speedy Breedy portable respirometer.
The Speedy Breedy is an easy to use, compact, portable, precision respirometer and detector of microbial activity that has been designed for both industrial applications and research.
Speedy Breedy addresses a core market need: to detect the presence and behaviour of microbes in a variety of sample types and applications, quickly, portably and without the need for expensive equipment and specialist people.
For product safety, Speedy Breedy enables the rapid detection of microbial contamination without the need to send samples to a lab for testing. It can be used in-situ, even on the production floor, and also provides an audit trail of measurements over time.
For microbial research, Speedy Breedy enables researchers to understand microbial behaviour in a compact portable respirometer. Speedy Breedy is a sensitive, precision instrument that when connected to a PC enables users to visualize microbial activity in near real time.
