Vision Air Software for Vis-NIR Spectrometers

Metrohm announced the release of its Vision Air software for vis-NIR spectrometers.  Designed for simplicity of use and clarity of purpose, Vision Air makes it faster and easier to train and implement across an entire organization.

Doing away with traditional, all-in-one approach for spectroscopy software, the modular Vision Air offers a streamlined, user-driven approach to spectroscopy, allowing operators with varying levels of technical knowledge to get meaningful data from vis-NIR measurements.

The Vision Air Routine interface, for example, is designed for users with no spectroscopy knowledge. Confusing drop down menus are replaced with touch screen-optimized icons, enabling routine operators to speed up their decision-making and get results with minimal training.

Method and instrument setup is fast and easy with the new Vision Air Manager, which allows on-the-fly configuration or adjustments to methods. Great connectivity ensures that these methods are deployed to all instruments regardless of location.  Vision Air is compatible with 3rd party analysis software from vendors such as Camo and Eigenvector, bringing a new level of chemometrics capability to Metrohm’s laboratory NIR systems.
