Webinar
Lateral Flow Assays: The Rapid Rise in Molecular Diagnostics
On-Demand
Combining isothermal amplification and lateral flow technologies (IA-LFA) creates a powerful diagnostic tool that provides the sensitivity and specificity of isothermal amplification, with the rapid read out results of lateral flow assays.
Webinar
Lateral Flow Assays: Optimizing Fiber Pads in Test Development and Manufacture
On-Demand
Cellulose filters are manufactured from wood pulp or high-quality cotton linters treated to achieve a high alpha cellulose content. Glass microfiber filters, or glass fibers, are manufactured from borosilicate glass. These depth filters combine fast flow rates with high loading capacity and the retention of very fine particles, extending into the sub-micron range, and are used in multiple steps of a lateral-flow assay including the sample pad, blood separator, conjugate release and adsorption pad.
Join our webinar, hosted by Klaus Hochleitner, to take a detailed look at the raw materials, specified parameters and optimal uses for cellulose fiber and glass fiber pads in lateral flow tests.
In this webinar you will:
• Review the purposes of the different pads in lateral flow tests
• Understand the raw materials and specified parameters of cellulose fibers and glass fibers with special focus on thickness
• Review the guidelines for development and assay validation, including block-on-the-fly
• Determine the optimal uses for cellulose fiber and glass fiber pads

Webinar
Lateral Flow Assays: Discover the Importance of the Nitrocellulose Membrane
On-Demand
The nitrocellulose membrane (NC) is the heart of a lateral flow assay. It is where the target and control molecules are captured and where the test results are read.
Join our webinar, hosted by Klaus Hochleitner, to take a deep dive into nitrocellulose membranes including the raw material, structure manufacturing process and capillary flow time and how these affect your lateral flow assays.
Klaus will also cover the effect of surfactants on protein binding and membrane properties and how to deal with unspecific binding of proteins to nitrocellulose membranes.

How to Select and Validate Host Cell Proteins for Process Development
On-Demand
Off-the-shelf generic and commercial Chinese hamster ovaries (CHO) host cell proteins (HCP) ELISAs are commonly used to quantitate HCP in early process development. However, it’s challenging to find and choose a generic ELISA suited to a process.
