Colorful, Magnetic Janus Balls Could Help Foil Counterfeiters

Now, researchers reporting in ACS Nano have developed tiny, two-sided “Janus balls” that show their colored side under a magnetic field. ACS’ Headline Science shows how these microparticles could help foil counterfeiters.
