Teach Me in 10 – Open Access Science With Dr Norman Van Rhijn

What do we mean by "open access" when it comes to scientific research? What are the benefits and drawbacks to publishing open access, not only for the researcher sharing their publication, but for the scientific community? How have attitudes towards publishing open access changed during the COVID-19 global pandemic?

As 21-25 September 2020 marks peer review week, we invited Dr Norman Van Rhijn from the University of Manchester to join us at Teach Me in 10 to discuss open access, preprints and general issues in science publication.
