How Malvern Panalytical Helped GSK India Optimize their Manufacturing Process
Application Note Oct 11, 2017
The case in study involved transfer of process/product from GSK’s own site to the CMO Site. There was a difference between the donating site and receiving site homogenizer. (Low Shear Vs High Shear). Thus, the challenge was to optimize the process with high shear mixing in terms of time and product quality. Typically, eight homogenization cycles spanning a period of eight hours were required (at donating site) to produce this product with the right quality attributes, which equated to a full production shift.
