About the SpeakerIn 2011 Kristina achieved her PhD from TU Braunschweig. Her academic appointments include: 2006-2009 Scientific Co-worker at „Institut für Oberflächentechnik“, TU Braunschweig, 2009- Scientific Co-worker and project manager at at Fraunhofer-Institute for Surface Engineering and Thin Films IST.
The presentation should give a brief overview on the possibilities of atmospheric pressure plasma processes for biomedical applications. This technique is a suitable tool to modify temperature-sensitive substrates in under gentle conditions.
