Hanna Tuomisto is a professor of sustainable food systems at the University of Helsinki and the Natural Resources Institute Finland. She holds her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in agroecology from the University of Helsinki and a PhD in agroecology and sustainable agriculture from the University of Oxford. Her research focuses on the environmental impacts of agriculture and cellular agriculture (e.g., cultured meat and microbial proteins), life cycle assessment, carbon footprint, sustainable farming and food systems and organic farming.
