After completing her degree in biochemistry at the University of Birmingham, Louise moved to the Leeds area where she worked for a drug development company. During her nine years in the metabolism department, Louise worked her way up to in vitro metabolism Team Leader. After a family move, Louise joined the Technology Networks team, working with Ash in the editorial department. As the company grew Louise took on a variety of roles and was the publication's social media coordinator until April 2022. Louise continues to support Technology Networks in a freelance capacity.
