Tyler B. Evans, MD, MS, MPH, AAHIVS, DTM&H, FIDSA is CEO and co-founder of Wellness Equity Alliance and author of Pandemics, Poverty, and Politics (2025). His career bridges frontline medicine, global health, and policy, focused on advancing health equity for marginalized populations. He previously served as CEO/CMO of Curative Medical Associates, leading COVID-19 vaccination campaigns delivering over two million doses across 10 states with equitable access as a priority. During the pandemic, he also served as Deputy Public Health Officer and Chief of the COVID-19 Vaccination Branch at Marin County Health and Human Services, and as New York City’s first Chief Medical Officer for the Office of Emergency Management during the initial COVID-19 surge. Trained in tropical and infectious disease, preventive medicine, and epidemiology, Dr. Evans has worked extensively with underserved populations domestically and abroad.
