TranSenda has announced that it has joined the BioIT Alliance. As a member of the BioIT Alliance, TranSenda will work in partnership with other science and technology industry leaders to address the challenges life science companies face with data integration, technical collaboration and knowledge management.
This alliance of influential pharmaceutical, biotechnology, hardware and software industry experts hopes to discover ways to tackle these challenges with the use of advanced Microsoft technologies to reduce costs, streamline processes and market valuable and effective products to the life science community.
Microsoft selected TranSenda to join the BioIT Alliance because of its continued excellence in using Microsoft .NET-based technologies to build process-based, integrated solutions and its visionary focus on designing the best clinical trial software programs to expedite drug development cycles for life science companies.
"I’m pleased to have TranSenda as part of the BioIT Alliance," said Don Rule, platform strategy advisor at Microsoft Corp.
"TranSenda is a Gold Certified, long-term Microsoft partner who is further extending the value of its powerful process management platform by developing some exciting integrated modular clinical trial software products for the small to midsize life science market."
"TranSenda is dedicated to Microsoft .NET-based technologies as an integral part of our suite of modular clinical trial products," states Bob Webber, TranSenda’s President/CEO.
"The focus of Microsoft’s alliance on personalized medicine provides a great opportunity for us to work with other members to leverage our vision of integrated modular solutions across clinical trials and drug discovery and make a contribution to this worthy endeavor."
