Sapio Sciences has announced a partnership with the management consulting and technology firm ZS. Together, the companies will offer consulting and implementation services supporting Sapio Platform deployments across biopharma R&D and chemistry, manufacturing and controls (CMC) laboratories. Additionally, ZS has joined the Sapio Partner Program as a consulting partner.

The partnership between Sapio Sciences and ZS brings together the technology and consulting capabilities biopharma organizations need to digitalize their laboratories, giving teams access to the Sapio Platform alongside the solution architecture, systems integration, change management and validation support needed to support successful deployment.

The collaboration is focused on enabling AI-ready, traceable lab data and governed workflows with clear human oversight, critical requirements for organizations operating in regulated R&D and CMC environments.

“Biopharma organizations are investing heavily in digital laboratories, particularly across development and CMC environments where data integrity and operational coordination are critical,” said Mike Hampton, Chief Commercial Officer, Sapio Sciences. “Partnering with ZS gives our customers access to deep life sciences consulting and systems integration expertise and through ZS’s global network, and helps us reach more organizations undertaking that journey.”

Through the partnership, Sapio Platform customers can access ZS support across the full deployment life cycle, from solution architecture and system integration through change management and adoption, while maintaining scientific context, data integrity and regulatory compliance.

“The need for results in R&D is extreme: speed, lower costs and higher success rates. ELN and LIMS systems are critical as modern science depends on AI-ready, traceable lab data to enable more effective collaboration and orchestration,” said Rohan Fernando, Managing Principal, Life Sciences R&D and Medical, ZS.

ZS brings consulting and implementation capability across several areas that help orchestrate intelligence across workflows with configurable controls, auditability, and scientist-in-the-loop review:

  • R&D and discovery: Integrating laboratory workflows with enterprise data environments to improve visibility into experiments, samples and scientific results with governance and human accountability, especially where traceability and compliance matter.

  • Development and CMC: Supporting digitalization of development and manufacturing laboratories, including integration with quality, regulatory and enterprise data systems that foster data integrity and compliance outcomes.

  • Laboratory informatics and data architecture: Designing scalable environments that connect the Sapio Platform with enterprise data pipelines, analytics tools and AI initiatives while redesigning the end-to-end lab decision flows that improve cycle time
