Mettler-Toledo Garvens has launched a Checkweigher Software Compendium, a guide to enable food, beverage, cosmetic and pharmaceutical manufacturers to choose the correct software options and features for the needs of their production lines.

Utilizing information in the Checkweigher Software Compendium, manufacturers can reduce changeover time, minimize product giveaway and enhance security, boosting production line efficiency.

The Checkweigher Software Compendium is applicable for all X Series checkweighers from Mettler-Toledo Garvens, including the XC, XE and XS models.

The Checkweigher Software Compendium describes features and software options to ensure easy navigation and optimize checkweighing systems.

The guide organizes the technology’s software options into seven key categories - display control features, connectivity solutions, fill weight control options, advanced product handling options, data security, basic functions, and enhanced operations, offering a comprehensive overview of the features of the X Series Checkweigher.

With information about using the advanced display control features, the Checkweigher Software Compendium can help manufacturers reduce changeover times on their production lines.

The compendium also offers solutions for enhanced fill weight control and advanced product handling features to help manufacturers optimize their product inspection system for reduced product giveaway and minimized downtime caused by packaging errors.

In addition, the compendium describes the many data security options and features to help manufacturers make full use of the X Series Checkweighers to ensure compliance with food safety and pharmaceutical regulations and standards.

“The number of software options available to tailor checkweighing systems to the specific application and product inspection needs of the manufacturer can be overwhelming”, said Gunter Schilpp, Head of Marketing and Product Management at Mettler-Toledo Garvens GmbH.

Schilpp continued, “The Checkweighing Software Compendium collates all this information in a single, easy-to-use document, to simplify the selection process and enable manufacturers in making an informed decision on the available software features and options to guarantee maximum efficiency and productivity for their production lines”.
