Worthington Biochemical Introduces AOF Collagenase/Neutral Protease Blends

Read time: Less than a minute

Animal Origin Free (AOF) STEMxyme® collagenase/neutral protease (Dispase®) Blends 1 and 2, produced by Worthington Biochemical Corporation, are now available for primary and stem cell isolation, regenerative medicine, biopharmaceutical and cell bioprocessing applications.

These new, specialized combinations of AOF Clostridium histolyticum collagenase and AOF Bacillus polymyxa neutral protease (Dispase®) offer a minimum of 250 CLS units and 1,000 or 2,000 caseinase units per mg dry weight, respectively.

Produced at Worthington's ISO9001 Certified site, the blends are valuable in applications in which the potential for introduction of animal derived pathogens must be prevented and are available in research-scale to bulk-bioprocessing quantities.
